People ask me all the time how long someone can wear a chastity belt for.  The answer is INDEFINATELY.  We have customers that wear chastity belts 24/7/365 and others that only wear them for a weekend.  It really depends on the person wearing it and the relationship with the keyholder.   I personally wear my belt A LOT.  I wear it to my full time job and enjoy this level of control and concealed bondage in public.  Being locked in a secure and inescapable steel belt is very exciting for me and makes me think of my keyholder all the time.  I always want to know when the belt is going to be removed.  I guess I want to count down to the removal day.  My keyholder likes to NOT let me know and keep her intentions to herself.  When it comes right down to it I am in the belt until it is removed.  I really have no say in the matter.  I think that is another aspect that I hate and enjoy at the same time.

I talk to people about chastity all the time, I see a common thing from wearers.  They are bringing this great fantasy to life and we often talk about the issues around it.  Most people that are wearers want to be belted all the time until it comes to be reality and they have no control.  I asked a keyholder the other day how long they would lock their partner up once given the key.  They responded.  “Most of the time”.  I asked more questions…  What is most of the time 5 days a week or 21+days straight?  They corrected themselves, They then said “all the time”.  They would be realistic around family events and things but all the other time.   This is something that most wearers really do not want.  They want to be locked and yearn to be locked, but they want it on their time.  This is why I see many customers not completely satisfied with the products.  They work up in their minds how great it will be to be locked 24/7 but after 3-4 days they want it off and have no control over the belt so cannot take it off.

I guess the reason that I am posting this is that people need to communicate and think about what the reality of it is before they get the belt and are in a position that is not what they really want.  I always say “be careful what you wish for”.  With a high quality stainless steel belt and a dedicated keyholder it is really true…

Hygiene in a belt is CRUCIAL.  I suggest to everyone that they get a removable shower head.  This makes showering easier and faster.  I also suggest using a body wash rather than a bar soap.  This makes things easier as the body wash can get into areas that the bar or a washcloth cannot.  Some people suggest that you oil or use lotion.  This is a personal preference and I say let your body/skin tell you what is best.  Many people say that a belt needs to be removed weekly for proper cleaning.  This is not true at all…  You can wear a belt all the time as long as you keep things clean.  Again, a removable shower head makes it MUCH easier…

Below are a few tips that help with 24/7 wear.  Some sound strange but they do help to keep things comfortable and clean

·         Underwear – People say why wear underwear if you are wearing steel underwear.  The truth is that it assists in keeping moisture away from the body.  This is something that you need to play with but I find that a good pair of cotton underwear can make all the difference in comfort.

·         Pads – Many people look at this as a fetish but it is really not.  It has nothing to do with a kink at all.  It is an even better way to keep moisture and odor down.  A think panty liner can make things even better.  I personally found that ones with wings can help right at the bottom of the plate to absorb sweat and urine drips and it will not discolor the underwear or smell.  This is also a great thing for men that tend to “leak” a little from being excited

·         Clothing – The fit of clothing is important for many reasons.  First is so that the belt is not seen.  If you are wearing tight sweats people might see the rear option of the belt.  Also if you are wearing things too tight it will push the belt into a location that you might not find comfortable.  For this a say experiment.  I can tell you that I love my jeans with stretch as well as my tighter skirts but I do check closely when in the fitting rooms to make sure that you cannot see my chains.  If I think it MIGHT be seen EVER I do not buy it.  Believe me that you will always be thinking that people can see the belt if you think it might be able to be seen.

Belts are supposed to be tight.  Let me say that again. BELTS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE TIGHT.  Many men ask “Where is my package going to go?”  The answer is simple.  It is going to be pointed down in a tube, the balls are going to be on either side of the tube.  The plate is going to be tight against your body so that you cannot get to it at all.  At first it is going to be VERY uncomfortable but after a day of taking it on and off and some bending you will be used to it.

As for the waistband a common mistake is to go on the larger size.  This makes everything uncomfortable.  You will be able to move the belt up and down which will cause pinching and a ton of other problems.  Some people get a belt and say that it is too tight.  Usually they are not…  I have had a belt that I KNOW was the correct size.  Got it right off the rack and it was my size, really it was I know my size.  I wore it at an event for the weekend and my HIPS WERE KILLING ME…  Oh MY God this think MUST have been marked wrong as I know that I have not gained THAT much weight.  After taking the belt off for a day and doing some shaping the belt was PERFECT.  In fact it was a little too large by about a half an inch.  If the shape of the belt is not bent correct you are going to have problems…  The belt that I mentioned I am wearing as I type this up and I have been in it for about 3 weeks…  It really is the right size…

People ask all the time about a permanent chastity belt.  This is something that I think sounds really hot.  I personally think the idea is great but then comes the other side of things.  Who is going to use/buy it.  NO ONE…  No one is going to be locked into a belt forever.  You have to come out sometime…  Air travel, doctor’s appointments, something is going to come up and that belt will need to come off.  It is just not practical.  I know that practical word again, you people hate it when I say practical but you know I am right...  You have to put the fantasy aside a bit and think about reality.  You just cannot have a belt fixed to you with no way to remove it.  Now that said, I have been working on a way to attach a belt without a lock that could be removed with a drill or something.  This way you would not have the lock and it would have a smoother appearance.  Sorry kids, I am NOT making this to sell.  I do not think that most people have the tools needed to make this work but it is something that my keyholder and I are going to look into doing for us and see how it goes.  If you really think you want to be in chastity for the rest of your life with no way to remove it.  Get some RED locktite and put it in the keyway.  Better yet some JB weld and make it so the lock will never move again…  But I think you really need to think about it before you do it as that fantasy may become a not so hot reality…

Everyone man wants to say that their penis is larger than it really us but in chastity it is not the best idea. The reality of it is that the smaller the tube in diameter and length the better the fit the belt will have and the more secure the belt will be.  Locked in Steel offers many different diameters of tubes and if you can get into a smaller diameter the lack of stimulation will give an even greater feeling of chastity as you will not have ANY sensation on the penis when walking, moving around, or going to the bathroom.  This also restricts room in the tube for swelling due to nocturnal errections, excitement, or other stimulation (such as nipples).  This can cause some discomfort but over time it will give the mind and body the message that you cannot get hard and to not try.

The only concern with a smaller tube is edema.  Edema is swelling and it is not a good thing.  If this does happen you need to remove the belt and take a break. This is not always due to the size of the tube, it can and usually is from the location of the belt or tube against the body.  The best thing to do it to take a break, bend and shape the belt and try again.  This is not something to panic about but is something to watch for.

I get questions like this A LOT.  A stainless steel belt will set off the metal detector and you will have to endure the humiliation of telling the person what it is and get the personal inspection.  Some people think that this is a great humiliation scene / fantasy but really you have to think about the other person.  Our kink is our kink and why are you going to expose and force someone that is just doing their job to be a part of your kink?  They are not there to be part of your kink they are there to ensure security.  I think people get caught up into the thrill of doing things and do not think of the details.  Society thinks that many people in the BDSM community are freaks and I personally do not like the ideal of that being reinforced with internet posts and news articles about people forcing TSA security to search them for their chastity belts.

Thigh bands and the connecting chains are made to be silent and comfortable so that they can be worn long term.  Many people like the additional layer of bondage that restricts motion and makes you feel more controlled. 

LIFE GETS IN THE WAY - As a person that can wear skirts and dresses all the time I do not think it is practical for long term wear but other have done it.  For me, unless I am wearing a long skirt, I get worried about something being seen in real life.  I have worn them with the belt for over a week.  The experience was GREAT but not something that I would want all the time.

Ok, above is a REAL e-mail that was sent to us...  This person comes back every few years with a different story.  If you are looking for a way to role-play a fantasy do not include me in it as I do not care to do it and do not have the time.  If you want a chastity belt buy it but do not pretend that it is for another reason.

A question that we get all the time is about pain and the belt.  I have to say this.  If a belt fits correctly it is comfortable and you have no pain.  It is not detectable under clothing and you can wear it 24/7.  It is a different feeling than wearing underwear but it is not a bad feeling.  You get used to it quickly and learn to love it.  Many people report feeling naked or “empty” without the belt on.
