KeySafes

Locked in Steel is now the distrubutor for www.MyKeySafe.com.  These safes are designed to work with http://keysafe.org:81/.

These safes are made to be opened remotely from anywhere that has an internet connection.  With this system you are able to give/offer your keys to other dominant users and they can control your safes locking/unlocking remotely. If you do not have a KeyHolder you are able to use Strict Mistress, a computer algorithm, that will control your safe.

These safe work wonderful and the website with the software to control the safe is free.  You safe will come completely configured and registered to your userid for the site.  All of the testing and confirguration will be completed before you even get the safe...


Keysafe with Keypad Control

The basic safe will connect to your computer and to the internet site that controls the safe.  You are able to "offer" your keys to others or "Strict Mistress" to control.

  • Entering the number '911' on the keypad will immediately unlock the KeySafe. This feature is intended to be used in an emergency.  The use of the code to unlock the safe will be reported to the KeyHolder. (this option can be enabled or disabled by the KeyHolder) 
  • The keysafe has the ability to generate 4 random numbers, each 8 digits long. Each of the numbers is a one-time combination code that will unlock the KeySafe. Each time one of these numbers is used, it is disabled and a new number is generated.  The numbers are reported to the KeyHolder is a secure manner by the website. This provides a secure way to unlock a KeySafe without using the Internet. Your Internet may be down, the KeyHolder may be away from his/her computer, or one of many other reasons why this functon may be needed.  If the KeyHolder has recorded the numbers, they can be provided to the wearer via phone, text message, e-mail, or any other convenient method. (this option can be enabled or disabled by the KeyHolder)   
  • The Keypad can be used as an assignment. For example the KeyHolder could order the wearer to enter certain numbers on certain days or times of the day. These entries would be recorded and reported to the KeyHolder, along with the time stamps of when they were entered. The holder would not only have to be in the right place at the appointed time, but would be reminded of the lockup of the keys on a regular basis.  We feel that this is a great feature to see what time wearers get home and to make sure they are in the right place at the right time.
